The Cardinals stayed alive for the #1 seed in the Baystate Conference by completing an incredible comeback from a 6-run deficit with 6 outs to go. The Mets still need 1 win to clinch a playoff berth.

After the Mets exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 6th against Jeff James, the Cardinals came back in the bottom of the inning to tie the score. In the 7th, A.J. Camelio drove in the game-winner with a pop fly to short right with the infield and outfield drawn in with the winning run on 3rd and no outs.

Jay Day picked up the win by retiring all 4 batters he faced. Kit Kadlec took a tough loss for the Mets, pitching beautifully through 5 innings before tiring in the 6th and 7th.

Billy MacDougall continued his torrid hitting with 3 hits. Yale Dieckmann also picked up 3 hits for the Cards.

A very poor EB Stadium field contributed to the teams' 12 combined errors.

Camelio drives in the game-winner; Jay Day gets the win; Kadlec battles and takes the CG loss
