Al Becker went 4-for-5 for the second straight day with 5 runs scored and 7 RBIs to lead the Mets to a 22-7 win over the Orioles. Becker now leads the MABL in runs scored with 17 and is 2nd in RBIs with 17. After scoring just 5 runs on 6 total hits in 3 prior games, the Mets have busted out for 47 runs on 54 hits in the last 3 games. All-Star Greg Cote was 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and Chris Sansone was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Tim Fortune (3-2, 1.40) struggled for the first time but picked up the win and 2 booming doubles to left.
