In a possible playoff preview, both teams featured their hard throwing lefties. It was Jeff Roach for the visiting Vipers and Juan Alamo for the home team Force. Roachie was on his game from the start as he went 7 strong innings allowing only 2 scattered hits, 0 runs, 5 K's, 2 BB and a HBP. He then came back in with 2 on and 0 out in the ninth to earn his 2nd Win/Save of the season striking out 2 more. He also went 1 for 4 at the plate with an RBI double to help the cause. After a rough start for Alamo, he settled in for the Force and held the Vipers scoreless for the next 6 innings.
