Backed by the pitching of Dan Blum and Luc Kocher, the Spinners increased their lead in the Bay State division with a 3-0 win over Ben's Dream White Sox. Blum went five innings, giving up just two hits while striking out six. Kocher came on in relief to finish the job. Omar Caceres led the offense with three hits, including a double. Ryan Gaffney and Bob Maccioli had two hits apiece. The defense also kept the Sox off the board with two double plays. Beau Janousek pitched five innings, giving up two runs while striking out one in the losing effort.
