Old rivals renewed acquaintances Sunday afternoon as the Harvey vs. Wlodacrzyk matchup lived up to its hype and ended as a classic. Pitching was the story early on as E. Harvey (6.1 in,ER,3 H,8 K's) cruised through the potent White Sox lineup. Wlodarczyk (6 in,2 ER,4 H,5 K's) was equally impressive, allowing an early run in the second before finding a groove. The Tigers would get to R.W. in the 6th adding 2 runs capped with a run scoring on a Gib SB and another on a Byrnie FC. These runs proved huge for the Tigers, as 3 BB and some Tiger miscues allowed the Sox to rally and tie the game in the 7th, eventually pushing the game into extra frames. In extras, Mike Vern struck out the side in the top half then started things in the bottom half by singling to left. Vern moved to 3rd on a Gib single down the right field line and a Coop IBB set the stage for Byrnie's GW SAC fly to deep center allowing the Tigers to walk off with a 4-3 win
