The Padres put aside their rough start to take their first win of the season against the Blue Jays today at Jones Field. The Blue Jays were short handed but were true sportsmen and elected to take the field with 8 rather than forfeiting. Leigh Zancewicz led the team offensively, hitting.750 with 5 RBIs. Matt O'Laughlin, Josy Tejada and Alex Dejesus also brought in runners. Defensively the Padres played solid baseball, keeping the Jays to only 5 hits and 4 runs.
