Padres get their first W of the season by putting together a great team effort. The Brewers put up a great fight and made a serious bid in the 7th on back to back doubles from Dubin and VanReenen. VanReenen and Dubin combined for 5 hits but the Brewers just fell shy as Giovani Abreu pitched himself out of jams all afternoon. Gio gets the Padres first W of the season while fanning 10 and getting it done in key situations. Sacco provided some offense going 3-3 with 2 RBIs and Zancewicz entered the game in the 4th inning and hit a 2 run hr to take the lead.
