Despite more Carlson errors in the field, Carlson was able to come up with big 2 outs hits to drive in runs. Ariel Rojas' 2 out 2RBI double in the fifth put Carlson on top for good. Hines made a 7th inning rally scoring 1 and moving the tying run to 3rd but Marvin Malaret was able to strike out the last 2 batters to earn the save.
