Pat Donovan worked a complete game and picked up his first MABL win. Eric Bennett was 2-for-3 and tripled and scored in the first to put the Sox on top. Dan Williams lead off the fourth with a home run. Pat Ellard doubled home Donovan in the fifth and Michael Bautista (2-3, SB RBI) drove in Ellard for some insurance. The Marlins played superb errorless defense and got a strong effort from Andrew Mierisch who worked a complete game striking out 8.
