TOWNE CLUB IS STREAKING!!! The win came in a pitchers duel that took 9 innings. Lefty CJ Doskocil pitched 3 strong innings striking out 5 & allowed 1 run. The veteran power arm of Mike Stefaniak came up big again, throwing 2+, striking out 2, & not allowing a run. Connor Rooney impressed going 3+,racking up 7 K's, & not allowing a hit(shades of a prime Pedro Martinez). Aiden Blake was able to get the TC on the board in the 2nd with a lead off triple; he scored on an infield single by Ben Chaffee. The Padres answered right back in 3rd & put up their only run. The TC offense finally came to life scoring 5 in the 9th. Injury News:SS Nick Comei was missing in action again.
