Brandon Cody led the offensive going 2 for 3 with 2 stolen bases,2 runs, walk and rbi. Sam Bernard and Mike Ross both doubled and had 2 rbi's. Towne wasted a solid effort by Hampe when the infield defense fell apart during an 8-run 5th. And for the third straight loss to open the season the offense failed to generate enough until it was too late to dig out of the hole.
