Grossman climbs into 2nd place in the standings with a hard-fought win. TJO's Kevin Zarnock and Grossman's John Witkowski locked horns in a low-scoring affair. Zarnock went the distance, striking out 8. For Grossman, Witkowski pitched well through 4 before turning the ball over to Nick Hohenstein in the 5th inning. He followed with three scoreless innings to seal the W. Anibal Pena paced the Grossman offense with a couple of hits including the game-winning RBI. The bottom of 7th was not without its drama: facing a 1st and 2nd situation with nobody out, Hohenstein struck out the next batter that then induced a ground ball to 3B Anibal Pena, who stepped on 3rd and threw across to 1st to complete a game-ending double play.
