Starter Mike Cook (2-0) struckout 4 in his four innings and the trio of Pat Shanahan, Jon Shepard and Jeff Allison tossed scoreless innings as Malden improves to 5-2 on the season. The top of the order set the table for the Bulldogs as both Anthony Perry and Luis Lara each went 2-for-4. Perry had a long double to left and Lara added an RBI. Joey Eugenio's RBI double in the 6th added insurance while Kevin Salines was 2-for-3 on the night. Medford second basemen Cunningham was the lone bright spot as he went 2-for-3 with a walk and made some impressive plays defensively.
