ROSENZWEIG Ks 13 IN WIN OVER TIGERS Matt Rosenzweig made his debut on the mound for the A's. He did not disappoint, striking out 13 Tigers and yielding just four hits and two runs. He also helped himself with a 2 for 4 performance at the dish, including a double. After scratching for runs in the first and the third, the A's blew this one open in the fourth. After the A's had plated two runs, Nick Tapper cleared the bases with a 3-RBI triple. Matt Asdornvuttikrai, who went 3 for 3 on the day, then doubled Tapper home. Brett O'Keefe also had a banner day at the plate, with a 3-for-4 day. The Tigers next face the Orioles on Friday the 20th, and the A's will play next Sunday morning against the Red Sox.
