GUISADO EARNS 4th WIN OF SEASON AS A'S DEFEAT TIGERS 4-3 In a game where both teams wondered if home plate was regulation size, Angelo Guisado lead the A's to defeat the Tigers 4-3. The Tigers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first with 2 RBI hit by the Tigers' Dan Field. The A's plated 3 in the 2nd, capped by an RBI single by Tom Vadala. They plated another in the 3rd by taking advantage of the small strike zone and working a number of walks. The Tigers threatened in the 7th, but with the tying run on 3rd, Guisado retired the final batter to secure the victory. Nick Tapper had another 2 hits as he continues hitting at torrid pace for the A's. Dan Field, Mike Mariconda, and Justin West accounted for all the Tigers hits, notching 2 a piece.
