Estarlyn Cordero led the O's to their first win of the season, spinning a CG 5-hitter. In what was a tight game throughout, Darluigi Gonzalez made a web-gem catch by in the 5th that quelled a Tigers rally and allowed the O's to preserve a tenuous one-run lead. Jose De Los Santos then helped to give the O's a little cushion with a 6th-inning double for his 2nd RBI of the game. Peter Allain and Dan Field had two hits apiece for the Tigers.
