Derrick Gauvin looked good on this muggy day and gets the win for Waltham going 6 innings and scattering 7 Storm hits allowing 1 run with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. A 2-1 game until the sox plate 7 runs in the seventh to break it open. Waltham had 20 hits with Rich Winant leading the way against his former team going 4-6 with 2 runs scored. Scary moment in the seventh when the game was still very close with a bang-bang play at the plate with Rob Linn and Dana Levensaler. Linn, who earlier in the game blocked the dish beautifully on Levensaler with the infield in to record a big out, would leave the game with an injury after, basically, the same exact play with Levensaler being safe the second time. Here's hoping Mr. Linn a speedy recovery to a local ball field near you.....
