Medford started off strong in the first inning getting 2 runs off starter Ray Malagon. The lefty settled in nicely and threw 5 strong innings picking up the win (2-0). With the Astros down 3-1 in the 5th, Delvis Baez sparked a one out rally with a brilliant bunt to 3rd. Francis Reyes followed with an RBI double and was driven home by a Roger Peguero game tying RBI single. After a ground out to 2nd base, Rommel Peguero drove in the game winning RBI from 2nd. Joey Ortiz pitched a scoreless 6th striking out 2 for the hold, and Izzy Velez pitched the 7th also striking out 2 and recording the last out himself at the plate for the save...his 1st.
