Malden, MA - Jon Shepard got out of a bases loaded, no body out jam in the sixth as the Malden Bulldogs defeat the South End Astros tonight, 12-7. This was the second straight game in which Shepard was faced with a bases loaded, no out situation. He preserved the victory for Ken Olisky (4-0) who threw five innings striking out seven and allowing four runs on five hits. After getting out the jam in the sixth, Shepard struck out the side in the seventh. Hunter Caron had a big day at the plate. Caron was 1-for-1 with 3 RBIs and three walks. Brian Duplissie knocked in 2 on his 2-for-4 day, including a key two out, two RBI double in the sixth. Jonathan Pollard was 1-for-2 with three walks and Anthony Perry had a solid 3-for-4 night.
