After the 1st 5 innings East Boston was beating a dead and burried South End team 5-1. The sleeping giants woke up in the 6th inning with Solis and Malagon driving in runs and another scoring on an error to make it 5-4. In the 7th East Boston plated 2 more runs to make it 7-4 and the Astros job got a lot harder. With 1 out in the 7th the Astros loaded the bases and set the stage for Angel Alvarado, who lined a triple into the right center field gap scoring all 3 base runners. Next up was red hot Gabriel Solis who lined a ball to left field for the game wiinning walk-off hit.
