On a hot and humid day at Fallon Field, the Tigers take the rubber match between their division rival Senators. Eric Harvey (CG,6H,3ER, 6K) with the help of his sweet mustache, moves to 3-0 on the season. Pete Grasso (2-3, 2 RBI) helped give the Senators an early 3-1 lead, with an RBI double in the 1st and single in the 3rd. The Tigers would take a 4-3 lead in the 4th on a Lambrecht single and a perfectly executed safety squeeze by JWest (1-2, 2 RBI). The Sens battled right back in the bottom half pulling ahead 5-4 on a Rausch (3-4, 2R, 2 RBI) 2 run single to right. However, the Tigers kept clawing back and scored 4 runs in the 5th, highlighted with a bases loaded triple by D Lam (3-4, 2R, 4 RBI) helping the Tigers take the lead for good. In the 6th, Mike Knell became the MABL career leader in triples (23), with his 3rd three bagger of the year. Knell later scored on an RBI missle by Murphy to make the score 9-5.
