Those watching the Green Machine and Harlem Shaskys battle at Crotona Park in the Bronx got to see a baseball game played like it oughta be. A tense, even battle through 9 innings of dominant pitching and stellar defense ended in a 2-1 Shasky victory, which for the time being puts them in 1st over the reigning champion Green Machine in the National Division. Pines Stavola scattered 7 hits and K'd 9 while Zamil Fernandez allowed only 3 Shasky hits (two by Crash, 1 by Pines)in taking a tough loss. Fish, Cyclone, Silly and Crash played excellent defense and Bull returned from a 3 game sojurn to call a great game and drive in the winning run. Chuck got the only other RBI, tying the score in the 4th. Free beer was served, so make sure to come out to all RBI League games...
