This game started out as tight as expected, as both clubs matched a duece in the first inning. The Breakers would jump out ahead in the top of the 3rd with a 2 out warning track double by Kurt Gaudet to drive in 2. Darwin Hernandez (Single short of the cycle) would get 1 back for the Vipers in the Bottom of the 3rd with a Screaming Solo HR well over the left field fence and beyond. In the Top of the 4th, the Breakers would add 3 to their lead to take a 7-3 edge. Again the Vipers would get 1 back in the bottom of the inning to stay close. The Bottom of the 5th would see the Vipers pull away as the first 5 would hit safely and score while adding 4 more hits and 4 runs to complete the inning with the Vipers taking a 13-7 lead. The Breakers would add 1 more in the 6th but the Vipers Steve Szathmary would shut the door for his second win of the season going 2 1/3 strong innings in relief.
