Stefan Botarelli pitches 5 solid innings and the Sabers defeat the Maddogs 4-2 in game one of a double header. Botarelli makes his first career Yawkey League start on the mound and doesn't disappoint. He let up only 2 hits, and struck out 5 Maddogs to picks up his 1st YBL win. Sam Cummings came in to close out the game, striking out 2 batters and picked up his 3rd save of the season. Angelo Colucci and Jake Zelnick would lead of the 4th with a pair of singles. After a Rob MacDonald sac bunt, Schauwecker would hit a 2 RBI single. Schauewecker would later score. In the fifth, Colucci would hit a deep sac fly to RF to score Jon Susko. Dunlap hit a HR for Medford.
