This was a messy one under an ominous sky. Savin Hill battled back in the top of the 7th to plate 3 runs and take the lead on sloppy play by the Dogs. Medford came back in their half of the 7th and tied the game on a wind blown single by Buddy Hanley, scoring Pete Byron, which was his third run scored on the night. Blaine McLean for Medford and O'Connell for the Hornets both deserved better fates.
