Malden, MA - The Malden Bulldogs take a 2-0 series lead over the Brighton Black Sox behind a strong pitching performance from Brian Duplissie. Duplissie (W, 1-0) allowed just one hit in his six innings of work as he struck out seven in just his second start of the year. Jon Shepard pitched a 1-2-3 seventh to finish the game. The twelve hit Bulldog attack was led by Tom Englehardt, who was 3-for-4. Both Duplissie and Brad Tardugno had 2-for-4 nights and Evan Tardugno checked with a 2-for-3 night at the leadoff spot. Brad Tardugno collected 2 RBI along with Jonathan Pollard (1-for-4). Andrew Dewing recorded the only Black Sox hit with a two out single in the fifth.
