Dorchester, MA - Patick Shanahan struck out fourteen batters as Malden improves to 8-1 with a 10 to 3 win over Savin Hill tonight. The left-handed Shanhan (2-0) pitched all seven innings giving up just three runs on four hits and issuing just three walks. He also struck out the side in four consecutive innings. Brad Tardugno connected for his first Home Run of the season in the second, a two-run shot. He finished the night 1-for-3 with three RBI's and two runs scored. Brandon O'Connell and Dave Clark had RBI hits for the Hornets, who now fall to 1-8 in 2010.
