On a cold night at McConnell, Kyle Breidenstine (W, 1-0) picks up where he left off in 2009, throwing five innings of one-run (unearned), two-hit ball. The Moose finished with two walks and six strikeouts. Relievers Steve DeFusco and J.J. Miller pitched the 6th and 7th for Beacon Hill. DH Joe Patrolia (3-for-3, R, 2B, RBI) and new Dodger SS Mike Navarro (2-for-4, R, 2B,) both had great night for the Dodgers. 1B Nick Tapper and catcher Bryan Duffy had an RBI triple each. Six other Dodgers added hits, including RF Joe Barresi singling in his first at-bat as a Dodger. CF Jay Shatto made a great diving catch to rob McKay catcher Kyle McKay of extra bases.
