The A's earned their 22nd win of the season,2-1, clinching the #2 seed for the 2012 playoff tournament. Matt McDougall, Dan Gaughan and Chris McDonough combined to limit the Saints to 1 run, with Gaughan picking up the win and McDonough nailing down his 2nd save. John Kostas singled in Steve Lambert, who had doubled, in the 2nd inning which proved to be the winning run. Kostas had 2 hits while Pat McDonough ripped 3 more hits and drew a walk to lead the offense. Tim Vogel had a sweet diving catch in right field to rob Greg Schwind of extra bases in the 7th inning, while Nick Malatos had a mean pick at first to end the game.
