Giants ride another stellar pitching performance by Tom Plumitallo to solid 8-1 win over Red Sox Monday nite. Plumitallo throws CGW (5 H, ER, 4 Ks, BB, HBP) scattering four strikeouts. Giants held a 2-0 lead in the 3rd before Brett Samboy's 3 run HR to right in the 3rd, that proved to be plenty of support for Plumitallo. Rookie Jon Savas (3-3, 2b) and Ant Montone also had multiple hits for the Giants in the win. Husher had two of the Sox 5 hits and Andrew Ferrazzani had an RBI single in the 7th to break the shutout.
