The A's end an uneven first 1/4 of their season to improve to 3-3 with a nail-biter 8-6 victory over the Giants at Libby. The A's struck first, scoring 6 runs in the first 3 innings, capped by a 2 RBI double by Donaruma. The Giants struck back in the 4th by scoring 4 of their own. With the bases loaded, Stiffler hit a 2 RBI single, and an overthrow resulted in a 3rd run. The Giants scored another run on a fielder's choice. Up only 1 run in the 7th, Donaruma led off with a single and was eventually driven in by Barton, with his second RBI of the day. The Giants threatened in the bottom half. Savas drove in a run with a double, but O'Keefe was able to strand the tying run at second to secure the victory. For the Giants: Ferro and Savas were each 2-3 with a double. For the A's: Donaruma, Pavlovich, and Barton each went 2-3 and 31 year-old rookie Rob Muollo collected his first MABL hit.
