Everyone hit the good pitching by both sides.... it was an exciting game... the Grays pulled ahead early and the braves battled right back... the Grays had a big inning in the 5th and the Braves answerd right back with 6 of their own.... Brian Smith was on fire... he hit two homeruns and both where blasts...including one that was in the bottom of the last inning to bring the Braves to within one.... and then CL Andy Lewis came in and hit a batter who advanced to second on a grounder 1-3..... Lewis then got the second out and k'd the final batter of the game in the dirt....who had to be thrown out 2-3 by catcher Frank Ottati...who threw out the speedy runner in a close play at first just as the tying run was running hard around third...... an amazing game by the Braves... but the Grays win by the slimmist of margins in a hard fought battle in the heat in Roxbury....
