John Blaine and Dickie Pacino locked horns in a 1-1 game but neither got the decision as it went into extra innings. The Knights got the winning run off of Ramon Antiqua after a Doug Flutie walk, Bill Flutie single, and a Steve Ryan bunt that the Sox threw away. Doug also scored the Knights first run after leading off with a double and Bill knocking him in with a single. Jon Churchill and Steve Wolf had two hits for the Sox. Mike Caccavelli got the with one inning of relief.
