Ramon Antiqua pitched a complete game victory as the WSox defeated the RSox at Nipper. The WSox broke open a 2-2 tie in the 8th when a costly RSox error allowed two WSox runs to score. Antiqua then worked out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the eighth to secure the victory. Brian Spadafino and Kevin Locke both had 2 hits and 2 runs for the WSox. Chris Rogers was 2-3 with a 2B and Andy Whigham had 3 singles and both RBIs for the RSox. Dan Pill pitched seven impressive innings for Waltham giving up 2 runs on 5 hits.
