Brian Houlding (8-2) became the latest MABL hurler to chuck a no-hitter. After a lead-off walk to TJ Unger, Houlding retired 21 straight batters for a near perfect game. Unger scored after Mike Malin grounded out. While Unger was advancing to 3rd base, an errant throw allowed him to score, thus shattering the shutout. Houlding finished the day with 5 K's, 1 walk and no hits allowed. Offensively, the Sox were paced by Jason Hoye who went 2 for 3, including a bases-loaded triple in the first inning. Earl Murphy had a perfect 3 for 3 day with 3 RBI and a walk. Will Bissonnette, Scott Reinold and Mike Lembo also all contributed 2 hits each. Jason Kurtz took the tough loss for the Royals.
