The Randolph Red Sox won their first MABL game against the Royals by a score of 5-4. Rob Johnson led the way by pitching a complete 3-hit game with eight strikeouts. Johnson also had an RBI. The O'Laughlin brothers supplied the offense as both Matt and Mike had two RBI's apiece. Shawn Ianucci went 3-4 with two runs scored. The Royals played a great game with some timely hitting and clutch pitching. Ed Palizzolo allowed 3 runs in 3.2 innings while fanning four. Jason Kurtz finished out the game giving up only two earned runs. The Royals got RBI's from Mike Doran and Felix Villalobos
