Brian Caccavalle threw his third consecutive complete game to lead the Fish to victory on Saturday. Cack scattered 5 hits and struck out 6 to earn his 2nd win of the season. The Marlins busted out of the gates with 5 runs in the 1st inning thanks to an RBI double by Paul Bracco, and RBI singles from Karl Cyr (2-4, 2 RBI, 1 R, SB) and Ricky Barbato. The Marlins quickly had two baserunners on in the 2nd after Kevin Brennan singled and Bracco was hit by a pitch. Brennan scored on a Mike Mori (2-4, RBI, 2R, SB) double, and Gregg Howard drove in Bracco with a sacrifice fly. Mori scored later in the inning to make it 8-1. The Marlins added one more in the 6th inning on an RBI single from Todd Garland. Frank Rich paced the Mariner offense, going 2-3 and scoring both Mariner runs.
