There are moments in our nation's history when you can remember exactly what you were doing at the time that you heard the news. This game will not go down as one of those moments. With some sloppy defense on both sides, the M's and O's managed to play an intense game that wasn't settled until the last inning. With the M's Jarlin Gomez and the O's Kevin Bell locked in a pitchers duel, the score remained knotted at 3-3 going into the top of the 7th. The M's loaded the bases against Bell yet only came away with one run, a sacrifice fly off the bat of catcher Steve Limoges. In the last half of the 7th, clinging to a 1-run lead, Gomez retired the side in order to preserve his first career BMBL win.
