Playing purely for Mariner pride at this point in the season, the M's won the season series with the Orioles behind solid pitching from Dan Tessier and a 3-run homer from Corey Aldoupolis. Tessier, who claimed his first MABL win in the outing, spun a 2-hitter after falling short in prior hard luck stints. Aldoupolis' home run was the difference in this one, as it highlighted a 4-run inning and propelled the M's to victory. Offensively, Mariner rookie Eric Rodriguez notched 3 hits while Jay LaPointe had 2 of his own. For the O's, Chris Buckley and Michael Stasio had a hit apiece and Andy Murachver notched an RBI.
