The Astros (3-17) overcame eight errors to clip the Marlins (8-10) at Cleveland Circle 11-10. Down 10-6 heading into the last inning, the 'stros crossed the plate five times with two outs. Dan Schumaker started the scoring with a three-run double, Jeff Roy walked, Tim Clark singled sharply, and Kevin Gorman (2H, R, RBI), reached base for the fourth time with a HBP to drive in the tying run. Owen Devine's infield hit drove in Clark for the winning run. Clark (2-for-3, BB, 2R) was playing his first game of the season after a 19-game stint on the DL. Tyler Walsh threw all seven innings to earn the complete game victory. He allowed ten runs, three earned, ten hits, four walks and three K's. Neil Doherty took the loss for the Marlins. Chris Ryan belted a three-run home run in the third to bring the Marlins within one. Josh Misiph was stranded at third after a lead-off triple in the seventh.
