After allowing a run in the 1st inning, Bryan Gauvin was masterful the rest of the way as he picked up his 2nd victory of the year. Gauvin tied his career high for strikeouts with 15 while scattering 5 hits and allowing 1 ER. The 4th was the Yank's big inning. Going into the 4th tied 1-1, the Yanks scored 3 runs on a Jon Mugar RBI single and a clutch 2-out, 2-RBI single by Jamie Mathews.
