The Marlins prevailed on the strength of a balanced offensive attack and a great effort from Chris Ryan on the mound. Nine Marlins had hits in the game, including Ryan, 3 for 3 including a 3 run double, which improved his average to a lofty .733; Matt King, 3 for 3 with a run scored; and Dan Nucci, who singled and walked in three trips. Josh Misiph knocked in two runs with a long first inning double, and Andy Katz, Karl Cyr and Paul Bracco all scored two runs in the game as well. Ryan faced the minimum over his five innings of work, allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk and picking two Broncos off of first base.
