The Mocka Rays would strike first after Knell reached on an error and scored on an infield single by Chand. This was all Alec Christian would allow, however, as he threw a CG and surrendered only 3 hits, while striking out 5 Rays. The Athletics would tally 2 runs on the 4th, with the deciding run driven in on a groundout by Bo McIntyre, and an insurance run on a 2 out single by Adam Chochrek. The A's would put 3 up in the 5th and never look back. In the 7th, the Rays put 2 on, but Barton was able to track down a no-fence bomb by Pizaro to put the game away. The Athletics and Mocka Rays face off again in Game 3 of the 5 game set on Thursday night at Cleveland Circle.
