A's OVER DODGERS The A's topped the Dodgers behind the right arm of Bret O'Keefe, who struck out 7 and yielded just 3 hits in the complete game. The A's took the 1-0 lead in he 1st, with Donaruma scoring on a throwing error. They got 2 more in the 3rd. Donaruma and Krall led off with a walk and double. McIntyre and Asdornvuttikrai followed with a sac fly and a single. 3-0 A's after 3 innings. The Dodgers got a run back in the 4th. Dow plated Cumming with a fielder's choice. The A's got insurance in the 5th. Krall sacrificed Donaruma to 3rd. Then McIntyre singled him home. Asdornvuttikrai smacked a double, and both he and McIntyre later scored on passed balls to make it 6-1. The Dodgers struck for 2 more in the 6th, when Barsammian singled home Ahmed and Hersch. But the Dodgers could muster no more runs off of O'Keefe, who finished off the game with a 1-2-3 7th.
