The Royals came away with a 5-1 victory over the Southeast Senators last night in Dedham. Cormac Sullivan gave a stellar performance on the mound picking up his second win on the year (W, 6IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 8K). With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 5th, Scott Weber led off the inning with a single, and gave way to pinch runner Mark Vito. After Vito advanced to second on a passed ball, Bryan Weber drove in the go ahead run with a single to right field. And error by the Senators right fielder allowed Weber to advance all the way to third where he would score two pitches later on another passed ball. The Royals tacked on two more in the 6th taking advantage of a couple more errors by the Senators defense. Eddie Lockhart pitched a scoreless seventh inning securing the win for the Royals.
