Backed by a complete game shutout by Dan Blum, the Spinners locked up first place in the Bay State division with a 6-0 win over the Cutters. Blum gave up five hits while striking out nine. Ryan Gaffney and Isaac Valvidiezo led the offense for the Spinners with three hits each and Luc Kocher scored two runs. The Spinners close out the regular season Wednesday night against the White Sox in Cambridge.
