In the rematch of last years championship the Grays would take Game 1 of the Sunday double header over the new look Cutters. They would do so behind solid pitching from Bill Riggieri. Riggieri also led the Grays offense going 2-3 R, RBI. Tim Zubak chipped in with a solid day at the plate as well going 1-3 2RBI. For the Cutters, Dave Galehouse had a solid day at bat finishing 2-3 R. In the end the Grays bats and pitching were just too much for the Cutters to contend with and as Mike Barba would say, "Grays win! Grays win!"
