The Angels took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first on a three-run home run by Michael Day off Warriors' pitcher Joe Avacian. However, Avacian pitched lights out thereafter and combined with Alejandro Sandoval and Owen Carlson for the win. Warriors' showed patience at the plate and securing some timely hits by Brian Gaudet, Steve Delong and Adam Messom. Special thanks to Owen Carlson who secured Jim Rice Field at the very last minute so we could get this game in after yet another disappointing episode at Ryan Field.
