First game of 2006 for the Cutters and White Sox starts off with a pitchers duel. Ken Kilduff for the Cutters struck out 8, allowing 4 hits in 4 innings while Chris Stone of the White Sox pitched a complete game allowing 5 hits. Stone held the Cutters at bay for 5 innings allowing only 1 hit until the 6th, when the Cutters evened the score and eventually took the lead in the 7th with a clutch hit and GWRBI from Matt Ells. Tom Levett came in and pitched 3 strong innings of no hit ball and gets his first career win in his Cutters debut. |
