The Rangers began their 2005 baseball campaign with a solid 2-0 victory over the always tough Worcester Giants in this rain shortened affair. Jeff James and Keith Umlauf kept the Worcester Giants' bats in check by not allowing a single player to reach base, making it the first perfect game in MABL's 13 year history (rain shortened or not). Coley O'Donnell (2-2, 1RBI) and Jay Wisner (1-2, 1RBI) paced the Rangers offense in the win. Steve Corda absorbed the loss for the Giants in a solid outing.
